Fishing for Piranha

Fishing for Piranha

Middle of the Amazon My afternoon is free Fishing pole is ready Piranhas come to me Leftovers are my bait It’s not too long to wait I’ve got a bite It’s worth the fight A fishy dangles on the hook But the guide starts to laugh Because another tourist caught Faux piranha riffraff

Explanation: While visiting the Amazon jungle, I tried fishing for piranha using leftover chicken chunks from lunch. I caught my first fish! I proudly showed it to a local guide, who shattered my piranha dreams with his astute identification skills. I still can’t remember the name of that fish.
And yes…the top teeth are arrows. I didn’t take the time to figure out how to create an upside down triangle with my free drawing tool.
